Sensory play is one of our favorite things at the library. This summer try some sensory ideas at home! Sensory play aids in the development of thinking skills and fine and gross motor skills, and it can also act as a great stress reliever.
For this mission find items from around the house such as dried beans, rice, shaving cream, shredded paper, or even water. Then put your item(s) in a plastic bin or large kitchen pot. Have your child explore using their hands.
Have Fun!
